Project 232, in partnership with DJ Dinero and Cre8tive Visions, hosted a fun-filled Back-to-School Cookout to celebrate and support our community’s students. Families enjoyed a day of excitement with free school supplies, Bowlero gift cards, delicious food and drinks, face painting, a moon bounce, music, gam, etces. We’ll also had prizes and giveaways to make sure every child starts the school year feeling prepared and inspired. This was a free community event!

Project +232 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing health equity and improving quality of life in underserved communities, with a special focus on Sierra Leone and its diaspora. Founded in 2022, we have recently expanded our reach into the Washington Metropolitan area (Washington Dc, Maryland and Virginia) to serve local communities facing similar health disparities. Our mission is to bridge critical gaps in access to care through community-based programs that address heart health, oral care, maternal and child health, nutrition, safe sex education, and essential needs. We believe lasting change begins at the grassroots level—empowering individuals with knowledge, resources, and support to take charge of their health and future. Through education, outreach, and collaborative partnerships, Project +232 is building stronger, healthier communities—one initiative at a time.
